Life in Asia is slow and primitive in general but villages have a more primitive form. There are many festivals in the villages depicting the cultural depth of the region. Bull cart races and wrestling is still in vogue in many areas. Classic culture and sports are displayed in village fairs. People from far areas come to visit these festivals. These festivals are also a trade place and  farmers buy and sell their goods and animals in these fairs popularly known as melas.
