According to wikipedia “Sufism or taṣawwuf (Arabic: تصوّف‎) is defined by its adherents as the inner, mystical dimension of Islam. A practitioner of this tradition is generally known as a ṣūfī (صُوفِيّ).” Sufism tradition in Asia is very primitive and got some affects from Hinduism also. Mystic men of Hidu dharm and dervaish of islam have almost similar look and perform very much similar rituals during meditation.
