Fishing in Dying River Ravi

River Ravi one a gushing and flushing river is now dying. Flowing through the mountains and plains of India and Pakistan. River Ravi originated from the Himalayan mountains and many small rivers join it on the way. But this river is dying specially on Pakistan side as its water right is with India according to Indus Water Treaty. Fishing is almost diminishing in this river and fishermen have to travel and row long distances in search of fish. This is a picture from the river stretch near Sahiwal city in Punjab Pakistan.

Beauty of light in a winter morning

The difference between a good and bad photograph is the light. these two farmers were busy in watering their fields in a misty morning of winter. As the sun rose, it illuminate the whole scene. Every thing painted in gold and every grain of soil starts shining. This was the best time for taking pictures of the farmers as they were in the best environment of nature.

Smiling Faces

These smiling faces prove the fact that happiness is a state of mind and it can not be achieved by wealth or any other precious belonging. These are farmer boys who were relaxing after helping their father in the fields. It was evening and light was just stunning. I Sit beside them and chat about their education. Both were studying in a local village school and now helping their father on holiday. I asked for portrait and they happily agreed with smiling faces.

Magic Of Light

In the First week of September one can witness the magic of light on the mountain slopes as the temperature become moderate  and hues of evening turns into golden. It was evening and sun was at a perfect height showering golden yellow light in spots on the mountain slopes in Naran valley Pakistan.
