Beauty Of Village Life

Photography and travel are inter connected. It is rare to have good pictures without travelling to some amazing destinations. I strongly believe in the fact that when ever you go out on a photography tour, you end up with at least one good picture. last week I decided to shoot some life along the river Ravi in the Sahiwal district of Pakistan. I traveled to the farmhouse of my student and left in the early morning for a photo shoot just near the river. Life is primitive,simple and beautiful on river banks. People are hospitable,beautiful and full of life.

Home Bound Farmers In An Asian Village

Asian Village

Light in the last week of September evening was vibrant and magical, bathing these home bound farmers in gold in an Asian Village. After day long activity in the fields, these farmers return home along with their cattle on the dirt roads with setting sun on their back. They fetch the fodder with them for their cattle for the coming night and start their way back to fields early in the next morning.

Smiling Faces

These smiling faces prove the fact that happiness is a state of mind and it can not be achieved by wealth or any other precious belonging. These are farmer boys who were relaxing after helping their father in the fields. It was evening and light was just stunning. I Sit beside them and chat about their education. Both were studying in a local village school and now helping their father on holiday. I asked for portrait and they happily agreed with smiling faces.
