Light quality and clarity just after rain is always amazing. Sometime light just peep from some hole in the thick cloud and produce amazing effect. So just go out after rain and  start shooting. Just one thing – shoot just half to one stop over as reflection around deceive your camera sensor and it would try to underexpose the scene.
