Most Sufi shrines have a myth among general public as healing places. The oil used to lit the lamps of shrines is mostly used to cure the ailments of skin and other lesions. This holy oil is also presented to the devotees as gift of the saint. The shrine of madhu Lal Hussain in Lahore is famous for its richness of mystic activities. Sufi from all over the area come here to attend the festival or mela chraaghan( Festival Of Light) which is held on 27 of march each year.
