In the season of winter farmer families in Punjab province of both India and Pakistan mostly use mustard plants as food source. They cook these plants as a pottage and eat it with maize chapati. It is a popular dish in the villages of Punjab and known as “Saag aur Maki ki Roti” with butter or “Makhan”
